Default DJM 3/5 Lowering Kit (Squeaky Bushings)

I recently installed this kit and the truck looks great (pictured):

After installing the kit though, it squeaks noticeably. I've heard two sides, it's because the bushing is rubbing and the other side is because it's polyurethane and it'll need to wear in.

I'd like to get rid of the squeak/creak and I wanted to know what others have done. Thanks for the help guys!

Don't know but it won't go away. I've had it for almost 2 years now.

That's not good to hear, but I'd think someone has figured out a solution.

Nothing worse than a squeaky truck!

So far I've been told to grease the **** out of the bushings to see if it solves the problem, although I think it's a temporary fix. It should work.

Any other ideas?

I've heard kits that come with black poly bushings are graphite impregnated and don't squeak. No first hand experience but my red ones squeaked too.

Mine does the same thing. Next time I have it in the air I will grease the **** out of it to see if it helps. I forgot to add extra grease when I was installing the kit so that might be why it squeaks lol.

Here is mine. I have drop shackles on the rear so I am sitting a little lower than 5.5 in the rear.

White lithium grease should help. I use it on noisy aftermarket suspensions in my shop constantly.

I will get back with everyone this weekend after the issue is resolved (hopefully) but it also appears the lower bushing is over torqued according to DJM. It should be at 35lbs and it's probably double that since the bushing is mushrooming out. It should be basically flush according to them, so with some grease and less torque it should fix the issue. Until Saturday people will hear me coming due to the creaking and squeaking. Can't wait to get it all fixed, I love the stance.
