LMAO... Well with all the BS last night you Boys sure got me Laughing this morning, hahahah. I needed that.

First off as for the 10 Tire/Rim Comments.... Yes they are a Shorter Profile Tire, Smaller No, there Acually Bigger. My Stock Ugly Steel Wheels with 235/70/17 I replaced with 275/40/18. The Rims look a Hell of alot nicer, and its getting Dropped soon. Ive never Had over a 18" rim except for my 2001 Harley. i dont like 22/24 ect.. I like stock Rims and plan on going with 50 Profile after i finish Lowering it. ( Now that we got tht strait

I went to Ford with my own Financing was the point, my credit union, so you may be right as far as them changing the APR through their Banks but that wasnt the Deal I showed up to the dealership with. Its the 7th truck I bought and have anecer had these problems. Its this Large family Owned Dealer that I know see has all these Complaints against them.

Also someone Mentioned the fact it was Out of Warranty. No it isnt, the Truck was Not Sold until 2010 & its a 5 year warranty on paint & drive train, I have until 3/2015, I dont even have 40,000 on it. As far as there Reply that it has to be Rotted out or Rusted is nuts. You can grab the paint and peel it in strips.. It Didn't Bond correctly from the Factory period.

As far as checking my Oil etc, The dealership changed it.. Thats my whole Beef.

As far as it Riding Like ***?? It Rides Just like any Truck with a Low- profile tire.. Thats all Ive ever Had on my Run around Trucks. My Dump Truck, and Stake Rack I tow my Roller with Obviously do not ;/

No, your new tires are smaller, by 11%. Your rims might be an inch bigger, but your overall tire height/diameter went from approximately 30" down to 26.6" That's a tiny tire for such a big truck. That's why you see the big diameter wheels on the lo pro tires, to keep the overall diameter close to the original.

Seriously though, that truck must get un-freakin'-believable fuel mileage turning tiny Ford Mustang tires like that..It must also have some serious rear end traction/axle hop issues without the weight of a truck tire on each wheel.
That seems a Bit Ignorant coming from a 8000+ posting Member bro! So anotherwards the same Stock tires My Lightning ran are no good for another 1/2ton?

Yes i understand that..my stocks were 29.75 & these are 25.5. I just like the stock 18's myself. Once its dropped to the Ground it will look fine. I did the same on my 94 & 2002 Lightning, I kept the 18's & went from the /45 to a 40..you should see how the 1/4 mi is. Hahahaha

It's not a matter of actually being able to run them or not... It's the way it looks. If you're happy, good. We all just think it looks SUPER weird and not right.

no the 5yr/60K mile warranty is power train only...the other 5yr warranty is RUST THROUGH not paint defects..it is a rust through only warranty...not surface ....paint defects only fall under the 3yr/36K mile warranty...are you the original owner of that truck or not? im willing to bet that truck was resprayed

Its never seen snow, its peeling like a Orange down to Bare Metal.

When I Bought the Truck I was promised a Spare Key (Only got 1) Took me 3 Months and a Call to 1 of the Owner's to get my other Key.

Had $3,200 added onto the final Loan (my fault for not Reading it again afyer we settled on a price) as they added a 3rd party BS warranty plan that I ended up Googling and found out they had Thousands of BBB and Consumer Fraud Claims against them.
Got a Complete Refund from my Bank (they took it off the loan)

Lastly my APR was 3.9 on the Pre Aproval (through my Bank) and the Ford Dealer Raised it Somehow to 7.9%....I had to call my bank & odcourse it was changed. After all this (as i already took delivery) A saleman came to my house with all the corrected paper work for me to sign.

Now today i hear a Funny sound (kind of as if a peice of Duck tape was stuck to my Front tire.. Tip... tip....tip...I put it in Neatral coasting and still heard it, reved it up & still heard it but it did change tempo... Not keeping the Beat of my Rolling Speed, but the Engine idle more a less.
Got home & checked all Obvious things.. Tires, brakes etc...Finally I checked Tranny Fluid, all good, Then the Oil~~~ the Dip stick was Stuck, Dry with Black resin . NONE.. zero... So Im 2,000 miles Short of The dealers sticker to have oil changed and theres No oil registering at all. Theres Obviosley some up in the motor somewhere, but not enough to even get the stick wet..Ontop of it I have No light coming on or anything...
Looks like at 1st Light I'll be outside tryin to figure this out. Ofcourse after sitting SOME Oil should register. I just cant undwrstand the dipstick being burned dry & stuck. Unbeleivable.
Did you read ANY of the paperwork before you signed it? The APR is on the paperwork.

Other than that, those tiny tires and your poor grasp of the written language disgust me...

The stock tires for Lightnings were 295/45/18 which are about an inch smaller than most other stock F150 tires, but still about 2" taller than those you have on yours. If you like the looks, that's all that matters. I like average rims with taller sidewalls than normal. Most guys don't like those, but I do.
