Loose bulb socket issues? Read this...
When i swapped out my OEM chrome trim tail lights for oem Raptor style lights, I had the same 'loose bulb socket' problem with one of the new tail lights. Turns out there is a rubber gasket that makes for a weathertight seal that had stuck to the original tail light when the bulb socket was removed. It was easy to overlook, but simply lifting the 1" (+/-) diameter gasket off the original tail light and placing it onto the bulb socket, then inserting/turning that in the new tail light solved the issue. Tight fit, no leaks, no silicone needed.

I liked the look of the Anzos. Few reviews I saw on Amazon were good, but this thread is sure interesting.

I too want to eliminate chrome on the front and back and replace with black. Was going to get the $140 Harley taillights and Anzo headlights.

Hey SteveLord... I have the same plan as you. Already installed the black Harley OEM tail lights as referenced above. I ordered Anzo U-Bar projector headlights that are on the UPS truck for delivery today. Will install soon and no doubt will post pics here for anyone interested to see.

I have the U-Bars on mine. They are okay so far....the LEDs are fairly bright and give the truck a rather unusual look. The projectors have nice cut-off line and handles HID well (no dispersed light that blinds oncomming motorists). I am still planning to order the factory HID units, however not a top priority on my list.
