I can't stand the chrome trim on my current ones.
Just silicone the seams with a good outdoor 50 year silicone before you install them, you will be fine. Alternatively the recons look great too and i've not seen anyone complain about this problem with the recon brand.

Not sure how much you are looking to spend but I highly recommend SnakeDoctor's retro fits : https://www.f150forum.com/f59/4-sale...lights-130914/

Here are a few pictures of the set he did for me. Worth every penny...it is crazy how much brighter these actually are.

It's crazy how much he wants for them, I'm not bashing his work at all. It's good and I'm sure solid. But his labor cost are a lil silly

If my intentions of the thread were to talk about "ricing" up my truck, I would have chosen a different title. But, to answer your question, since it is my truck and my prerogative, I hate all the chrome that came on my truck, especially in the headlights, tail lights and third brake light. In order to change that, I order my new equipment as I want.

What my attempts were, instead of wasting someone else's time, was to warn other people who might be interested in "ricing" up their truck that I had an issue with Anzo and their customer service and to give them a warning of my experience.

Do you ever have anything positive to say? Come on man, if you don't like his headlights, don't comment. We all know you disagree with mods in general, but others enjoy them, so keep your comments on the threads about leaving your truck 100% stock. Don't bother wasting our time (and yours) with useless little remarks. Quite frankly I don't believe anybody wants to hear it. "If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all."

I left the diesel site I am on with my F350 because of all the negative comments. I joined this site because I "WAS" considering putting Anzo's on my FX4. I think they look better than my head and tail's but after reading this, my stock ones will do. Thanks for heads up on issues.

What's worse is that people like YetiASR5Carbon having the courage to talk and put people down the way the do because of the simple fact they're hiding behind a computer. These negative loud mouths are for the most part, skinny little jerks who try to make up for what they lack in the real world. Nothing more than a desk jockey who can you a dose of reality. You're not better then anyone on here, so shut up and let people have fun, YetiASR5Carbon.

Save your money! the anzo's are def not worth it. i learned the hard way and literally chucked my 6 month old anzo headlight AND tail lights inthe garbage! thats how disgusted i was with their quality!

I ended up doing a retro fit, and couldnt be happier! I also got harley rears, and blacked out the edges that was money well spent all around!
