You've probably exceeded your tongue weight by double or triple. That trailer is not tongue weight friendly.

Tyler 150 asked: Super springs are the actual leaf springs right? How do those affect the unloaded ride of the truck?

Yes Tyler they are an extra leave. Had no effect on the ride at all, but they sure did help with the sag on my Chevy and my neighbor's Tundra. I think the cost was around $400.00.

There's a lot of weight on the front end. How much does that 440 weight? 670 to 700 Lbs plus the suspension?

I had a few of these motors RB and B motors. Hell I had a 440 that bent an engine stand. I loved the B motors. Put a RB crank in B motor and you have a torque monster!

Back the car on the trailer and see what happens.

Nice Charger!
I had no problems towing my mopar, the truck sat pretty level.

Believe it or not. This trailer used to be a mobile home in a previous life. A couple of weekends in the mid nineties, some buddies, some new lumber and this is what we made.

Would a lower draw bar ball mount help ease the sag, aside from still requiring a wd hitch?

I am guessing my old Flareside (w/ 351) weighed about the same as the Charger. I doesn't matter where the wheels are locateded on the trailer, it's where you position the car on the trailer. I have adjustable wheel stops and move them fore/aft depending on what I am hauling. I have lowered my truck since this photo was taken and towed with it. All I did was get a new ball mount to compensate for the new ride height.
