Default Dirt King long travel shackles

Dose anyone know anything about these? Would they work for the time being with my add a leaf and raptor rear shocks until I get the full set of leafs? http://shop.dirtkingfabrication.com/...-DK-900802.htm

They will lower the back end a bit. I know Eco-Beast 28 has been doing a ton of research on them, maybe he will chime in here.

Ok thanks and I was thinking that's what it did but wasn't sure what the bend in them was for. I have a set of lowering shackles that I haven't put on yet so if they do the same thing then I'll just do the shackles for now.

because of the way our leaf springs mount (above the shackle mount) a longer shackle will lower the back a bit but will gain droop travel when the leaf pack is extended.

I have a set of LT shackles, I can't remember who made them, could very well be this brand. They drop the back about 1" and give that inch back in droop travel. The idea is that you would buy a spring pack that would put you about 1" higher at ride height then use these to both level the truck and increase your travel (droop).

If you already have lowering shackles go ahead and use them for now. The LTs are the ones you want if you haven't made a purchase yet.

Ok thanks, that makes it a little more clear and useful. If I didn't have them already I would have gotten these. I was worried they would effect the way the leaf and add a leaf would work with the raptor shock. Hopefully with in a year I'll have a set of national leafs.

I have a 4" lift now and I took out the rear blocks and put in a 4" AAL and my rear end sits just a little too high now. Would fit my truck and would these level out my truck?

Should fit if the stock shackle still fits. As said above, will lower the rear about 1" by making the shackle longer.
