Her name is Samantha. Lovely name. We first met about 7 weeks ago, and I was smitten. Having just recently come out of a 14.5 year relationship with my Lariat, I was willing to overlook Sam's faults. I would smile every time she would ask me if I meant one thing, when clearly I asked for something different. Even when she would tell me my requested media wasn't available, and I could clearly see the USB stick plugged in, I didn't get angry. I looked at it as one of her foibles.

That's all changed over time. Nowadays, it seems like all we do is fight. I want to listen to Garth Brooks, and Samantha insists on playing Johnny Cash. I ask for a playlist, and she just tells me that same old line; she doesn't understand me.

This led me to an epiphany on Sunday. I'm sure it's in a manual somewhere, but I finally figured out how to get to my USB stored music, by scrolling through album titles , artist, song title, or playlist, without begging Sam to do it for me.

Samantha and I are through. We had some good times, but we also had some bad times. I'm truly sorry for some of the awful things I said to her when we argued, and I was angry with her, but I'm sure she will come to forgive me.

Samantha if that's her name needs to take lessons in understanding the English language! She hasn't once got a name right in my cell phone's address book. I say call Maria and she'll call random names in my address book that aren't even close to Maria and I speak pretty clearly. I divorced her after the first week of owning my truck, now I just do everything manually.

Samantha is hard of hearing as well. Until I gave her a lobotomy, now she hears and understands me,......most of the time.

Hmm she is my mentally underdeveloped SIRI. She usually works if no one is in the truck. The second someone is riding with me and I want to show them how cool my truck is....she doesn't work.

This happens to me all the time lol. Worse yet, Sam plays games with me. I ask to dial a simple name and it will call my boss. I have to quickly hang up and some times my boss will call me back lol. I do not use that voice dial anymore.
