Default Did a little dipping today...

I had a little free time today so thought I would start dipping some stuff. Plan on dipping the wheels, emblems, bumpers, exhaust tip, door handles and a few interior parts as well.

The mirror caps were a breeze and took about 15min. The grill was a pita broke some clips removing because..well..clips suck...and getting the grill split was a pain as well. Turned out ok but I'm not 100% happy. May do it again when I have some more time but it'll work for now.

Plasti-dipping is super easy though. But the white doesn't seem to coat the best. I think I uses almost two cans just on the grill...

iPhone pics but better than nothing.

Nice improvement! I sure hope you cleaned that grill before you sprayed it!

Looks sweet. I just dipped my front and rear bumper and a Harley Davidson grill I bought. The grills are for sure a pain in the *** to dip.

I came into this thread seeing a white truck and expecting black plastidip. I cringed.

I was pleasantly surprised though to see some white! Looks nice! Now time to throw some coats of clear over the dip.

That is likely their "glossifier" and from what I have read it is a waste of $$.

Your truck looks great so far. Keep the pics coming.
