I like the stock chrome grill, but for some reason, I can't stand the front chrome bumper. Wish it was blue flame like the rest of my truck. I know that sounds strange, and I'm not sure they even offer on xlt. I would also like the outer bezel of the chrome grill blue flame. Is this possible? What prices am I looking at?

Also, I'm going to go ahead and have a pro shop install my leveling kit for $200. I can't align and to my understanding, the truck has to be realigned. That cost $150 in my area. Would've done it myself though.

I digress, back to the bumper.

Only thing that bothers me is it being a 2011. Blue book when I checked was right on what they sold it for. Being a 2011, how much did I lose just driving the thing off the lot?

Also, can is use profanity on this board?

No profanity. I think you got a good truck but I wouldn't have paid that with it being a 2011. But that's me. I'm sure you could have gotten a 2013 for close to that. But if your happy and can afford it then don't sweat it. Your truck has little difference from the new ones anyways. Plus you got really low mileage.

I guess for 28k I would have just gotten a new one.. But that's me.

As long as you are happy, is all that matters

Did you get the best deal in history? Nope. Did you get taken advantage of! Nope? Did you get a fair deal. I say yes you did. Right now rebates are reduced for some reason (you can see some threads on this). So new would have been many thousands more. Did you get it CPo? If so, even getter. But at that low mileage it's almost redundant.

I have an 11 screw lariat ecoboost and it's been a pleasure. No issues and great mpg and power. Only thing to add to your list may be a tuner to add almost 100 lbs torque.....

I suggest not to second guess the deal. It's made, and the truck is yours. It's time to enjoy it, and let the modding begin. As far as the bumper, and the grill surround they can be painted. Find a good body shop with experience painting chrome. The prep process is the key to a good paint job when covering chrome. The cost to do the grill surround on my Platinum was 200 bucks. That was the body man doing everything, remove, prep, paint, and install. The bumper should be close to the same amount.

What's a tuner? Will it void my warranty? How much is it?
