Is there a plug and play kit since ford has these wired in some how? I'll be ordering a set when the truck comes in.

I've never seen deals on these and I got mine straight from AMP direct - they were the cheapest at the time and the kit also included the LED lights to light them up. About $1200 all in if I remember correctly - just remember the brokerage fees we get stung with up here if you order from south of the border.

One of the vendors here quoted them for $950 shipped.
Local off road store quoted them $1500 installed.

No. The wire harness comes with the steps and needs to be routed across the firewall and down each side of the truck. It is not too bad except for the terminations down by the passengers side kick panel. Some people remove the seat to get in there easier. It looks factory when you are done, if you route things neatly.

Save yourself $550 and install them yourself. Took me just a few hours to do mine without any help. Very well engineered kit, easy install.

Good price is highly subjective but this is the best price I've seen.
