Default dented intercooler ecoboost owners warning

while parking today the lower valance scraped up on to the curb no big deal I thought, so I looked at it and grabbed it to make sure its not loose while moving it back and forth, I noticed through the intercooler opening in the bumper it goes all the way to the intercooler it has these two tabs that made two big impressions on the intercooler ridges, thank God they didn't puncture all the way through, but they could easily do it if hit hard enough. So I got happy with the razor knife and took care of them. Just something for all of you to think about.

Wow - I would never have thought that would happen to the intercooler. Good tip - I'll do that to my 2013 once it's delivered and before I put on the intercooler grill I have sitting at home.

Thanks for the heads up. I had no idea the valance could even hit a normal height curb.

Or...maybe don't pull so far forward that you hit the curb.

hey it happens, the curb was a little to high for being ordinary. plus look at the valance the thing can pass for a snow plow
