I agree about Rockwall Ford. I went to them to purchase a new F-250 about a month ago, and told the salesman what I wanted to pay. He just said no way you will purchase a truck for that. He cut me off in about 2 minutes. I guess he didn't want to get out of the AC in the showroom. It was pretty hot that day. I went down the street to Greenville Ford and made the deal. They don't have a large inventory, but I got a deal I was happy with.

Asked to have the a/c fixed, trailer light wiring harness, and backup sensors were both intermittent as well. Picked the truck up, and none of the issues were fixed. The A/C was blowing hotter inside the truck then the 100F air outside was that day. Took the truck back and the a/c was fixed. But that is all. If you can't tell the a/c isn't working properly by it blowing hot air, I'm not sure how you put pants on in the morning without killing yourself. 2. Rockwall Ford Called Rockwall Ford on a Saturday morning and I asked if I could have my sync update checked. The grumpy old man had no desire to help. He said that ther are never any sync updates. And that I wouldn't be able to take my pickup in for the regular maintenance that week. I drove straight there and spoke to an even more unfriendly Service Manager. I demanded my sync be checked and there was an update on it. Also asked them to do the maintenance on the truck. I paid for a service program when I purchased the F-150. I know for a fact they didn't rotate the tires. Wouldn't be surprised if they decided to not even change the oil. I called today to ask for a spare key to my F-250 and they pretty much told me they didn't want to do it and to take it elsewhere. I expect to be treated like a Ford customer and not as a dealership customer. It shouldn't matter where I purchase the Ford truck.
I went thru the same kinda issues with Town East Ford in Mesquite after I bought my new truck last yr.. I escalated it up to Ford Corporate and they called me really fast. After i had a second issue and again gave them a poor review and i received another call not only from Ford but the GM of Town East Ford letting me know this would not be tolerated and action would be taken. Two weeks after my second encounter with Town east a new Service Mgr called and encouraged me to try them again as they had made changes and was wanting to try and regain my trust.. I have to say so far i have not had any further issues and they are Johnny on the spot to call me and make sure i am satisfied with my service. So make sure and follow thru with these issues Ford needs to know.

Hi folks,

Don't forget that I can document any feedback (positive or negative) about a dealership. All I'll need from you is a PM with your full name, best daytime phone number, dealership info, and any specifics you'd like me to include. I'll do the rest.

Yes ma'am will do. Thank you. Looks like there are a few of us from the same area. I would prefer to use one nearby and local. But not if I'm going to get crappy service. I have lots of trucks at my shop and I have a few personal trucks. They constantly need service. But I have to send all of our company trucks to Autonation in Burleson and wasn't given a choice on that. Right now my company truck is sitting at the Rockwall Ford even though my company wants it at Autonation. All the keys were lost and I live nearby Rockwall Ford. I don't see any logic to having it towed to Burleson so I pulled it to the Rockwall Ford. If there's any more issues, I'll take proper steps to deal with them.

Pilot Point Ford--Bought two from them, both F150s, 2010 and now a 2013 Limited, never had a service issue.

I bought my 2013 FX2 screw from Mac haik in desoto, TX. Had to deal with only 1 salesman Larry sparks hell of a guy. Didn't get me any run around sand was straight up with me. Gave me exactly what I wanted in monthly payments and not a dime over. Can't say that for waxahachie autoplex. Told I would not find that price for the truck or monthly payment range at any dealership in Texas. Drove 30mins up the road and I found Mac Haik and Larry sparks. Thanks again Larry!

I had been to Rockwall Ford several times for oil change (coupon) and warranty work. Pass 2 years, I found only 1 guy that actually are pleasant to work with, and actually gets the problem taken care off. I forgot his name, but he is taller, 40s, bald, and mustache. All the others, not so much

I have used both these places. Bought 2 new Fords from Mac Haik. Sales guy Mike doesn't do the BS. Well he knew I didn't for all that crap. There service dept is something less to be desire. I had gone to them twice to get my remote start active but no luck. The service managers there are @$$ holes. The Waxahachie sales guys are less to desire as well. When I went to buy 2013 Edge. I was on the lot for like 15-20 mins before guy came out and ask if I was just kicking tires. I said no I was wanting to buy a vehicel but I guess they didn't want to sell me anything. So I left. Went to Mac Haik. Had problems with Waxahachie service department not wanting to do the maintence on the Edge even though I had bought the Ford Maintence plan. Well I tried like 3 times with them to get my remote start on the F150. On the 4th try I went up there again and talked with a service manager. Explain the whole IDS process with him again. There were like 3 cars ahead of me for service, but since mine should only take like 5 mins. He pulled my truck ahead of them. After 5 mins, I got the remote start active and $75 later I was done. So, I'm still up in the air on which one to use for the normal maintence on the truck.

I'm goin to college in OK, so all the service and maintenance I do on my vehicle is the ford dealerships up here. But I agree I had the same problem with waxahachie ford, I had to go inside to tell them I was interested in buying a new truck if they wanted to sell one to me. Didn't seem too keen on actually being salesmen there.

Bought mine at Grand Prairie Ford, went to take it in for the first service and I won't be back. Added the wrong oil, and I know there is not much difference between 5W20 and 5W30, but why can you put what is recommended in the truck? Asked, they said they put 5W20 in due to the local climate. Last time my truck was there, been happy with service at Don Davis so far.
