The reason the factory seems smoother and faster, is how they designed it.
The tailgate leverage is greater than the piston resistance., whereas with ours, the tailgate resistance at that far angle is less.
If we could drill a hole further back or closer to the bottom of the tailgate, I betcha it would act the same way.
How's that, for a little... I can't sleep and it's 4:30 in the morning, philosophy

Thank God there's this place to come to. Now if they only had the dark theme version, like before. I wouldn't have to put the Blue Light filter on and turn the display down to zero, so my eye's don't burn in the early morning.
