Kansas City is busy making 2013 F150s......and I understand Dearborn is starting soon?

Also hearing that FX4s with Appearance Package are only made in Dearborn plant.......true?

Of course, we've ordered a 2013 FX4 with the Appearance Package.......and....the.....waiting.....continues .......

I know the feeling of having to wait on Dearborn. I'm assuming that's where my truck is going to be built. The wait sucks........

When snapping the photos of the 2013s in a mall lot where KC is staging some of their trucks, I specifically asked several of the people working around the lot (security people, truck drivers, etc) if they had seen any FX4 with the appearance package. Actually...I asked if they had seen any on the lot with a stripe on them similar to mine. One guy said no, they (Ford) did not make those here (KC) and that they (Ford) had not started building them yet. That has to be taken with a grain of salt, but the gentleman seemed to know exactly what I was talking about and spoke without hesitation.

You might be right. However, I heard they'll start building those FX4's after they've built the Limiteds.
