Default Dealer rancho lift quote!

Just got a quote from my dealership to install a rancho 4" lift on my 2011 4wd lariat. $2300 includes parts, labor, shock, everything. For those of you who have them installed, is that about right? I really don't need to go with a full suspension lift but just don't want to put all my suspension in a bind with the leveling kits. I had a 2.5" on my 05 and it did a number on my ball joints/tie rod ends. Thanks for the input.

Not too bad i guess. I had a lift kit installed on my old 2002 silverado. bought it for $1000 and had it installed for $1500. So id say ur in the ballpark.

Price isn't too bad... I've seen some less than stellar opinions on here about the Rancho shocks on the newer F150s... most were just for leveling shocks, but the word was the shocks just weren't made for the weight properly... for as much as a lift costs, I'd want to make really certain the quality was good.

Someone else makes a 4" for our trucks, don't remember off the top of my head but should be able to find it in a search. I thought it was BDS but a quick check of the website shows I was incorrect... take a look around and do some research before doing it.

I can not speak to which lift is better than the other as I have neither. But options are always a good thing.

im pretty happy with my rancho shocks and lift. the adjustability is nice, but if anything i wish i went with something taller. and for a dealer install, thats not a bad price at all. hope they give you full warranty coverage and let you take the $500 rancho rebate.

I'm paying a tad more to have a local shop install for me on Monday. Parts alone with the 9000xl shocks from 4wheelparts is over $1900 so if the dealer install includes the 9000xl shocks its a very good price! From what I've read the 9000xl shocks are worth the upgrade and only a couple hundred extra over the 5000 shocks.

As another option, Skyjacker makes a 4"-6" lift as well.
