Thanks for the info on the core charges, I had to wonder with the shadyness of the whole ordeal. The most I would have done with the old rims is blasted them clean and thrown some new paint on them and sold them off. I did have a wild hair to paint them race red... Oh well, all is well now and I am clear of this ordeal

Glad to hear and that's the important part.

Thanks to the others for the confirmation of the core charges. Given what FX4life had been through it sounded fishy to me.

Wow. I just read this whole thread and the ordeal that you had to endure, FX4life.....and that is some BS! I understand that "things" happen when you take your truck into get service, but it's imperative that it is handled properly and that they make it right. I cannot believe some of the things that your dealership has told you and the attitude they had throughout. THIS IS THEIR FREAKING FAULTS!!!

Ugh.....glad everything is all worked out for you and it really is a shame that Ford has dealers out there like this and they don't crack down on them more. I understand it's a franchise and such, but guys......it's ruining your brand name. Step up! I love Ford and have been a Ford guy/family all my life. If I had an experience like this and most of the other dealers in the area were comparable...........I don't know what I would do.

Any who.....glad it worked out for you!
