Default Dead pedal installed

I ordered and installed this dead pedal today and I don't know how I got along without it. This will be nice for the long road trips and it definately feels great to have aplace to rest my left foot. It was kinda pricey, but it bolted right in and is well built. I am sure someone could easily make one if they had a way to cut it out and bend it.

Agreed, a great addition for driving comfort. I bought mine directly from Cravenspeed 3 yrs ago (one of 22 product reviewers) but also posted here with pics: Cravenspeed Raptor Dead Foot Pedal

I was curious about this pedal too. Have you had any problems with movement of the dead pedal with just the firewall attachment? I also have that style floor mats and I didn't want to be drilling into my floor.

Thanks,

Al

^^^ No apparent movement since installed, however this truck isn't my daily driver. Approaching 5 yrs old, total mileage since new is just 11.2k miles. Nonetheless, I'm confident the dead pedal will stay in place - even if periodic tightening might be required, Yes, I'd buy it again in a heartbeat...

There are two holes in the bottom in order to bolt it to the floor but I left them out onand slipped my floor mats underneath. It seems plenty tight and the nut on the firewall has a nylon insert so I dont think it will come loose.
