Default Dash Panels

I am sorry, but each time I search I keep getting forums for different year models. I am looking to paint the grey on the interior of the truck as well as the radio panel. I dont know how to remove it. Can someone please help direct me to a thread that has some help with this or give me some guidance? Thank you in advance. 2010 fx2

The ones on the sides are attached to the entire dash panel above it, so you might as well leave it or mask off the area and paint it. The center ones just pull right out. Don't be scared, just pull them right out (gently).

The radio bezel has two bolts on the rubber mat just above the radio controls, under the screen. (not the tray). unscrew those and the radio bezel should pull out, but make sure to pull the air vent posts first.

The vents themselves pull out too. Rotate them and pull gently and eventually they should come out. There are guides online, search it up.

I try to make this as simple as I canto remove the radio. There is a rubber mat under where it says built ford tough when you turn on truck. Gently pull that mat up. Remove two screws under it. Then behind your sync panel ( or what ever the hell you have in that spot) pry the sync panel back with a flat head screw driver there is another screw behind there once those are out. The trim areas in on each side of the radio are very easy to remove. Just pull the away from the dash try starting at bottom where they end beside the big pocket at bottom of the dash. lightly pull them back they have expanding clips holding them in. Whether you have 4x4 or that stupid little change thingy it has a wire assembly attached to the back of it. Detach that and pull away from dash warning there is a trim piece around the speedo that is attached to left dash panel with expanding clip. The right dash panel is attached by clips and the 12v hot point is also connected. Dis connect it and panel should pull away from dash. I'm not sure how to remove the stuff around the air bag but I'm sure it prob pulls away like the rest. I really hope this has helped. Ps remember there are like 5or6 cables holding radio in be gentle pulling them out.

The center stack - two screws under the rubber mat beneath the vfd (display) and one behind the aux in/sync panel. I think there are a couple screws securing the bin at the bottom too.

You should be able to find any screws holding the two vertical trim pieces on either side of the center stack.

If yours is like mine, the piece on the passenger side has to have the airbag removed. If you decide to do this DO NOT have the key in the ignition when you disconnect the airbag. There is a tendency to flag a code that may (or may not) have to be reset by the dealer. I learned this from experience in my last vehicle. I rode around for almost three years with a warning light on before I found someone to reset it.
