I cant see the part number on the listing, this guy is probably making a killing! If anyone has a part number I'd like to see if there is a cheaper price than $42 dollars... thats not expensive but theres probably cheaper oem parts out there. if not no biggie!

Plus he walked me though the entire process....so 40 bucks really wasn't that bad for me. Just my 2c.

Found my issue
Hey guys. Here is something that is stumping the dealership. This past Monday morning, went to the truck and it wouldn't turn over. Battery was dead to the max. No Problem I thought. Put in a new battery @ my shop. This is when I noticed , that after being inside for the hour, the cluster lights were still on. Nothing else.The rest of the lights weren't on, unless I turned the lthe lights on. Took it to the dealer, left it for the day, and of course they said I needed a new battery, and put one in, saying the battery I put in had a bed cell. I told them they were wrong,but hey what do I know.
. Sure enough, I went to pick it up, and the cluster lights were on again. It's been @ the dealer ever since. BTW, its a 2012 Platinum with about 150,000 kms on it.Any feedback would be helpful, because the dealers haven't been.

Videoed it, showed it to my dealership. I just got it back today....again, they said they sent the video to Ford technicians, and they figured it was my "park/shifter switch in the steering column. Apparently "they" have seen this before. It tells the computer in the vehicle that the vehicle is not in park, and computer keeping cycling up or some crap. Anyways, they said that should fix it, we will see.

I just wanted to thank all of you who contributed to this thread. It saved me a ton of money, time, and frustration. Very easy fix. I'm sure there are a lot of other people who have benefited from your help over the years also.

My battery went dead on FX2 sport 2012
mine has the console but I’ve checked the switch and parking light is on, switch is good, but light on dash still on even when I take the keys out, when I take the keys half way out, lights turn off and right back on... I’ve tried everything, any tips on how to fix this ? Could be the ignition ? Please anybody, can’t find anything online
