Laramie. All the goodies. RamBox, Uconnect, sunroof, 8 speed w/ manual shift, hemi, 3.92, leather, bun warmers and ball coolers, all kinds of things I am sure I will never touch but make the missus happy so she couldn't torpedo the deal... yeah. A lot of the creature comforts that make me feel like less of a man

Best feature- 23k trade in and 13k off sticker.

Wanted a Longhorn, but the interiors to me just screamed "retired cowboy".

Basically said that as soon as they see that code, it's a pretty good bet that the engine will need to be done. Whether true or not, that was just the most recent in a string of crappy experiences there. I asked if it could be related to my last oil change there when the kid in the pit forgot to tighten my oil filter and I bled 7 liters of synthetic out before I caught it. No answer. I have had some really shaky experiences there lately- likely because all of the experienced techs from Ford now work at Dodge
This is why I bought a comprehensive warranty through Ford on the one I just bought(2010 lariat, 48k miles now).......cuz I know these 5.4s have a nasty reputation for coming apart in the top end. It's also why I'll be paying off bills and watching the rebates on the 2014s next spring/summer...... "I" want that 360HP 5.0 too!

Toddman34 Here you go. I am pretty happy with it! It has some big shoes to fill, so I guess time will tell. For now, it will stay bone stock- except the rubber. Duratracs going on tomorrow.

Thanks man! Brother in law is a Dodge tech- he gave it the thumbs up before buying, so I figure I will be good until I want to change again. Big test will be when we hitch the TT up next summer.

I'm tempted to switch brands, but I can't stand the way Rams look. My Ford has let me down since about week 2. It's discouraging to have truck problems.

I had same setup and options on my Ram except also had the two-tone; great truck. Sorry to see you go but good luck on the Ram and enjoy!

The Ram is a good truck, I had a Laramie before switching to the eco. The 13's interior is awesome and I was actually looking to upgrade to a '13 Ram I just didn't want to wait for mine to be built. I wouldn't worry too much about the 8spd its a ZF trans that's also used in a lot of higher end cars.
