Hate to say this, but I just signed my F150 away
A bunch of minor little issues lately and recently one potentially big one. To top it off, my diff started to act up today. Figured that was an omen. So, list of wants in hand I hit the Ford lot and the Dodge lot. Both had trucks I wanted. I hate to say it but Ford wasn't interested in dealing with me on a new Lariat. If I didn't buy ecoboost, they weren't interested, and with all of my past service issues- I figured it was time for a change. I'm sure going to miss that truck, but that's what it boiled down to. All brand loyalty aside, they are both awesome trucks and I made out like a bandit on the Ram.
I'm going to hang out here and watch the builds and pitch in when I can. I appreciate good looking trucks no matter the brand, and you guys have some kick *** rides!
Cheers! It's been fun! Let the builds continue!

Basically the tech is figuring my block and heads are cooked. Not confirmed, but they wanted me to park it until they get an opportunity to look at it November 4th. To some, that's acceptable, but I can't because I use it for work- and not even a hint of a loaner. Said I would have to rent something. Camshaft Position Sensor. Basically said that as soon as they see that code, it's a pretty good bet that the engine will need to be done. Whether true or not, that was just the most recent in a string of crappy experiences there. I asked if it could be related to my last oil change there when the kid in the pit forgot to tighten my oil filter and I bled 7 liters of synthetic out before I caught it. No answer. I have had some really shaky experiences there lately- likely because all of the experienced techs from Ford now work at Dodge

Yeah I hear that. I think it goes two ways. My F150 only started to let me down recently- still enjoy the truck, and if Ford was willing to work with me, I would be in another, but I talk to so many guys that LOVE the Rams, figured I would give it a go. Guess only time will tell. They are both good trucks in my opinion, hopefully it doesn't let me down
The only thing that I am a little nervous about is the 8 speed in it, but realistically- if there was one thing about my F150 I could have changed, it would have been that epileptic 6 speed. Guess I have 100K to figure it out now
Since both dealerships are clients of mine, I figured I would spread it out a bit.
