Just sayin
You're right, and I too noticed that when I posted last night. I'm not really sure what's going on there, maybe it's the lower kelvin color and the grey-ish color of the fence? I'll try to replicate that exact photo tonight as it's just around the corner from the house. I didn't realize that I was that close to the fence with the stock bulbs.

Here's another set of comparison.

There is a difference, although it's not drastic. The CBIs are more white and crisp.

I bought a pair of DOT duallys while they were on sale last weekend. I have a set of amber duallys in the fog location now so I'm going to try the DOTs in the lower grille and the lowest opening in the main grille to see how they work. If I don't like the output there I'll put them in the fog hole. I also got some yellow film to try on them.

Thanks. They're obviously a bit of coin, however they are starting to burn in nicely. I probably have about 20 hours on them and they are really coming alive. I'm quite happy with the CBIs.

so is there a noticeable difference in brightness? i know everyone thinks whiter is brighter, but do you notice a difference over the oems? i just like the clean crisp white output of the bulbs. i factory oem bulbs do a fine job, but I'm seriously thinking of picking up a set of these

Brighter? Not in actual lumen output...at least nothing I can tell with the naked eye.

However they are whiter with a touch of blue at the cutoff. I changed them to closer match the DOT Duallys. It does appear more "crisp" than the OEM bulbs.

The lighting setup you have looks great.

I wonder who's offering the best deal on the Rigid DOT's?

Thanks.

The best deal I could find was from TAP

Their price, shipped, was hard to beat.
