What is the downside of leaving it on all the time?

i dunno .. i dont think anything
oncey ou turn car off it shuts off.. so each time you turn on car/truck you have to restart the lock pick with the steering button .. so no big deal ..

Awesome Mod OP. But why do lockpicks cost so much!? haha.

Atm, my front camera is my bumper, it lets me know when I am to close by a slight "bump" sound

The reason you don't want to leave GPS input enabled is because the Lockpick blocks the GPS antenna so the truck is fooled into thinking its not moving, thus allowing you to input things.
Great install, I've been researching Lockpick for some time just waiting for the $$ to get it, did you have to remove air bag module like their video says?

I am interested in the lockpick not for a front facing camera, but for all the other things you can do with your MyTouch. I wonder if the Lockpick makes MyTouch more stable.....

i tried to get it out without taking out the air bag ..
it was 3 bolts ... 5 min .. out and back
no biggie

and you can leave the lock pick ON ... even though the gps thinks the truck is parked .. everything still works nothing is effected

I know this thread is fairly old.....BUT.....
There's so many different types of cameras on ebay. Which one did you use to fit into the Ford emblem the best? It's hard for me to judge with pics on threads and of the cameras.

Thanks in advance!!
