Completely Amazing job Rob! For a home made console, that thing is great looking! You knocked that baby out of the ballpark!

Not exactly, but it is very close to what the folded seat was. I just designed the box to fit the sub, and added a few inches to the top for the actual console part and cup holders. I wanted to be able to put stuff in it still, without being obnoxiously tall. It worked out, and it is a very comfortable height.

great build, just cut the side templates for mine today. Do you mind showing a pic of how you hinged the top on?

Very nice job on the console. I was contemplating ripping apart my fx4 and doing a subwoofer in there but I already have the cutout in the carpet for the factory sub so I got a custom box being made for the jl 10tw3 sub in the factory location. Has anyone modified the factory flow through console with a hidden woofer? I love my audio, but not in sight.

I don't have a picture of the hinge. I just used a set of cabinet hinges

Thanks for the responses! One last question, I picked up the same Wagan usb socket that you have on the front of your box but mine has the cord coming out near the top, which makes sense because its made for a cup holder. I like how you mounted yours and was going to do the same but noticed your cord is not visible, did you open it up and run it out the back or something? Thanks for your help!
