Post Custom Paint Job

What do ya think. I know this isn't factory however I really like the looks of this. Would any of you custom paint your truck? I would like to however mine is sterling gray and their isn't much you can do with that color unless you have ideas.

Hmmmm.... I can appreciate custom work. But that's not my style. Too many conflicting things going on with it for my liking.

I know what you mean. I really like yet I really am not sure. I doubt I will ever do anything to the paint on my truck unless of course something happens and I have a reason too. This caught my eye though.

As is ...

Maybe (?) if ...
  • the window visors were black.
  • the door handles were black.
  • the side molding were black.
  • the side mirrors were entirely silver.
My thought is that if you're going with a motif/look/scheme ... Carry it throughout otherwise it comes-off disorganized and unpleasant to the eye.
.

I'm not digging the chrome door handles and surrounds. Each to his own I guess.

Way too busy for my taste, and not liking how the black color ties into the front grille area or rear with the satin and silver theme as well. Having said that, I do like the silver/black combo but perhaps not on the Plat with so much satin/chrome highlights.

That is too busy.
I considered some kind of graphics on my truck, maybe to compliment the TT but then when driving solo it would be too busy.
I went with hand laid pinstripes.
IMO, 2 narrow pinstripes would look nice on your rig. I would go with lime green/dark green.
