I seem to be the only one satisfied by my OEM Nav, but damn do those full sized iPads look great in there.

total newbie to in dash tablets n im too lazy to read 55 pages. can anyone give me some advice on installing either a tab 3 or a removable setup for a 2014 note. going in a 2011 fx4 w navi. does anyone make a mount I can buy for a quick install? any advice is appreciated. thanks!

i make them, but they aren't cheap.. pm me if you have any interest.

so if i understand correctly you remove the factory stereo and relocate it somewhere else in the truck. where are you guys with XLts moving the factory stereo?

You have to rotate the main stereo box to where the CD player slot is facing up or down. You also have to get a little creative with using the factory brackets to reattach it to the dash.

I have since redone the mount with my own mounting brackets which uses the factory threaded mounting holes in the stereo. Unfortunately, I didn't take pictures of new installation.

I just bought a 2013 with the 4.2 LCD radio. Is there a way to do a iPod mini with it?

Well you don't have to do anything to the radio with a float mount kit.
