Crap on my truck I can't get off
So I have a 2011, had it for 7 months, while at work the other day some company was power washing and sealing our fire house. They were working on the front of the building and we park in the back, guess they decided to get a jump on the side and not tell us to move our trucks. It was windy as hell that day and they must of not been thinking. When I came out the next morning there was spots all over my truck. Looks like dried water spots that won't come off. It all over the windows, top, hood, grill, bumper, wheels and all down the drivers side. My truck is white and on the paint the spots look reddish. I'm PISSED. I tried washing it off with car soap and dish soap, neither worked. Im in the process of finding out what they used and finding out who's paying to fix it.
Does anyone have any advice of what would work to get it off with out messing up the paint job? Clay bar?

Sounds like a degreaser. Couple years back a guy I knew sprayed purple power on his white caddy. Well he let it sit for about 30 min and needless to say it's a reddish pink now.
Sorry for your troubles. Would be contacting company if it where I

Have the company pay for a cut and polish!

Why don't you and your buds "accidentally" wash those guys/gals with fire hose... Bet they'd end up with a bunch of reddish spots, too

I don't understand why painters and roofers think spraying cars is ok. See if they'll pay for a good detailer. It may not be their responsibility to move your car but it damn sure is their responsibility to warn you of what will happen if you don't.

Mine got hit with a well water yard sprinkler a couple weeks ago and before I knew it there was a layer of white lime spots on everything. I saturated a microfibre cloth with white distilled vinegar and it wiped right off. I immediately washed the vinegar off and rewaxed it again. It's good as new.
