Default Crack noise when right blinker is activated?

Lately maybe since August or so, the first time my blinker is used to signal a right turn for the first time in the day that it's used, I get a crack/click. It won't happen again until the truck has sat for a few hours or even overnight.

A left turn never triggers it. I'm just out of the 36 months but have an extended warranty that would pay for the 50.00 part but I don't really want to pay a 50.00 deductible just to have the part replaced.

I'm contemplating just buying a new part for 3x.xx from amazon and replacing it; anyone else heard this one before? Thinking maybe a lube issue I don't know.

Have the same problem on mine. It is the turn signal switch itself. I have decided to live with it until the switch stops working completely as it doesn't really bother me. It feels like the switch is going to break when it does it though. Mine is to the right as well.

I have similar, I think in both directions. Same thought, unless it actually breaks, I'm ok. Mine is pretty quiet, but I can hear/feel something different the first time many days. I use the half-pull more often, so it doesn't impact me too much.

ok thanks for the backup here; so I'm not alone. I'll just hang loose for now and not stress.

Mine seems like a little stickiness or the edge of plastic pieces clicking or something minor.

I'm not sure what I would see if I remove it and spray a little silicone around - I guess it can't hurt.
