Default Coyote tow stories

I have a 2014 5.0 Coyote ,3.55 gears 6.5 ft bed Screw. I love this truck!!! I bought it to pull a T.T. We are looking at a feather lite around 5,000 lbs. I will be putting in air bags and a W.D. Hitch. I would love to see what others with this set up are pulling and if you have any suggestions on what I might want to do to get the most out of this truck for towing thanks:-)

Here is mine (2014 STX 4WD with 5.0 and 3.55) pulling about 5700 lbs (trailer is only 3720 lbs dry, but by the time I add two dual-sport motorcycles, two propane tanks, a battery, 500 lbs of water, etc, I'm up to 5700 lbs):

Truck pulls it great. Yes it will drop down a gear or two when you hit a grade, but it has no problem handling the load.

That setup looks nice and level as well. You've done a great job of preparing truck and TT.

Yes, someone actually knows how to set up their hitch, etc. If only more people knew what they were doing. Saggin' wagons, aint cool.

Heres mine. Tt is around 5500# on the road plus wood and various stuff in the bed. Pulled to PEI this past summer with no trouble. Plenty of power just let it get over 3000rpm. 3500 seems to be the sweet spot for pulling deceint hwy hills. I normaly lock out 6th at about 65mph that puts me right around 2100rpm which feels right. Pic looks a bit funny cuz ot the angle of the tt to the curb cuz she sits pretty near level. Maybe 1" from back down to front.

did you have to upgrade your tires from the factory tires that came with the truck?

My uncle has an 09 Denali 6.2 Yukon and serves him well towing his 7000 pound bobcat while being comfortable lol, the only downside is how much the resale on GM Tabks compared to Ford. He bougt his Denali last summer from the GM Dealer (36000 miles and Mint and on chrome 20's and chromed out for $19000.00 Canadian)
