Very nice. Ordered my bug deflector just waiting for it to arrive. How long did it take you to install the tonneau cover?

I've always wonder if a bug deflector actually keeps all of the bugs off of the windshield or only some of the bugs. In either case don't you still have to clean bugs off of the windshield?

In my experience, the bug deflector really didn't keep many if any bugs off the window. I have the Ford one sitting in my garage (when I bought the truck about a month back I had to chew up a grand in accessories) but am still debating as to whether or not to put it on. Can it be revoved easily? I was thinking of putting it on on the winter to protect from stone chips and taking it off in the summer. I have the same truck as the OP.

I would say it took an hour at most to install the tonneau cover. Love it. I need to take recent pics of my truck.

Wait. Was that directed to me or the OP?

It is not a difficult install or removal (although I haven't taken it off). It keeps the bottom of the windshield really clean; however, the top third or so, still gets some bugs...not nearly as bad as without it though.

+1, mine whistles if there is a cross wind. Very annoying!

I might try taking it off to see what it looks like. The dealer had it on the truck when I bought it.....

Received my bug deflector yesterday. One question, are the directions for installing it confusing or is it just me?
