Congrats, I do like the Blue Jeans Metallic. What a deal, I don't blame you for jumping on it. Enjoy.

I finally got some half-decent pictures of the new ’13 XLT! Including one of both trucks Even putting a face to my name, which I'm sure everyone is dying for, ha. Oh, and a shot of the soon-to-be Mrs. nagata, since the new '13 is more her truck than mine, as it's her DD

The ’13 is a GOOD looking truck, but the ’08 is much more "sporty". I love them both, but the new one is SOOO much nicer!

Oh, and added an Advantage TorzaTop Tri-Fold tonneau, which is AWESOME! For the marginal cost increase over the Extang Black-Max snap-on, which I have on the '08 and was about to get for the '13, it's MUCH easier to use and looks great!

I have the same color. It had to grow on me. Now I like it very very much. The xlt's can't be beat. Mine came fully loaded (xlt wise), all I need to add is power folding mirrors, leather seats and remote start.

Congrats on the new truck. How do you find driving the truck in winter? I have a 2WD truck as well and have generally just driven slower in the winter, but I know generally most people buy a 4WD truck.

Thanks guys!

Tom - I'm pretty happy with both of 'em!

Thanks! I've been driving 2WD trucks for a total of 9 winters (4 in a '93 Ranger, 5 in the F-150s), and honestly, have never really had a problem. If the roads are REALLY bad, we just stay home. Around here, things are relatively flat, so inclines aren't a huge issue. I put 400-500 lbs of ballast in the bed, centered directly over the axle, and take it easy. The '08 has never been stuck, though the Truetrac and A/T tires have definitely helped at times. Haven't had the '13 long enough to really test it, but it's done great in the snow thus far, and the e-locker should be a good asset for getting going in really slick conditions.

All that said, if I'm driving long distances in slick conditions, I prefer my '07 Focus with winter tires...it's a beast in the snow!
