I have the same problem. I went to the dealership and notice the others on the lot have the same faint distortion. Just part of the design.

I just got back in town and while I was driving I started to think the same thing? I know it is either one or the other!

Thanks Guys! I really appreciate your time! I had a couple of issues with the truck when I picked it up and they are getting ready to submit them to Ford, so I thought I would reach out to see if others or all of us had this issue. I also noticed when I was waxing it the top where they apply the caulk seal had a lot of dirt in it and it is bubbling on both sides so I want to bring all the issues to Ford one time. Don't get me wrong, it isn't so much as nit picking but since the dealer agreed the other issues needed to be addressed I might as well throw all of it in at once! Great Truck, I love it, and nothing in life is perfect, but if you want to get as close as you can then you need to buy a Ford!

Because of this thread, I also notice my bed alignment is off as well, as bad as the OP.

I said no biggie, I'll square it myself. So went I buy a torx #50 socket and loosen the 6 bolts holding the bed. Even if I could move the back of the bed freely, I couldn't move the front of the bed. I didn't bother much as I had an appointment this morning at the dealer.

I went to the dealer this morning and showed him my bed alignment. The advisor said yes, they are all similar, we can not fix it here but I can send you to a body shop and they'll fix it under warranty.

So I went to the body shop and the guy said, yep, I can fix that but we have to remove the bed completely and make the holes bigger because there are two plastic pins use for alignment and they are preventing you from moving the front of the bed. I said thanks but no thanks and drove back home.

My question is, was he bull****ting me? Is there anything else but the 6 bolts holding the bed?

Thanks all

While I agree it should come squared from the factory...why fix it? Does it affect the function of the truck in any way?

Truck runs great with a "crooked" bed... but if I could easily fix it I would do it. If I can't, it's no big deal

I had a similar issue the first time i waxed my 2012 SCab. I took it to the dealer and they fixed it under warranty. I think they loosened the bed bolts and adjusted the box, maybe one of the rear door hinges as well. Looks perfect now.

If that bothers you check how our trucks unloaded sit .75 " lower on the drivers side. I even ran my truck really low on has and still almost an inch lower on the drivers side. So stupid. Make ten friggin level!
