Default Missing bracket bolt on bed

I noticed today while washing my truck that I am missing a bolt on the bracket eight behind the passenger side rear tire. It's the bracket that goes from the game to the bottom of the quarter panel. I also noticed that there is no hole for a bolt to pass through. Anyone else have this issue?

There is a push in tree style plug in that hole.

That's the fender brace, just bore a hole thru the plastic and put a bolt in with correct threads matched to that threaded clip.

Good time to order the wheel wells. Plus they come with extra hardware. Win win

I don't have a warranty, truck is a 2012 XLT S-CREW.

I'll probably just go through my stash of screws and find one that fits and drill the hole.

I was more curious to see if anyone else had that happen.

Haven't had it personally on my truck but when I worked at the dealer, stuff like that was common, the dealer should have noticed and fixed it before it got put on the lot, that's what Ford pays the dealer to do a PDI for.

Pre Delivery Inspection.

It looks like they put a plastic push pin in instead of a bolt and it worked itself free. Just remove the plastic push pin and replace it with the M6 bolt.

I have extras of those bolts, I removed them to install the wheel well liner. PM me If you want one or two.

As soaring Falcon mentioned, I have them extra. As I also installed the wheel well liners.

PM either 1 of us your address, and I will mail you one free of charge.

Very nice of you guys to offer, but if he wants it in there, like tomorrow, and he doesn't have one that fits in his stash.....remove one from opposite side and carry to any auto parts store. Same size as our license plate bolts aren't they? M6 by 3/4" as mentioned above.

I really appreciatd the help with the screw, if I dont have one in my stash, I may take yall up on the offer.

No telling how long there has not been a screw there, possibly since the truck was built. I bought it used, and as far as i know it only had one owner prior to that.
