I admit it was an impulse buy and I had hopes a fellow forum member could give me some advice. Thanks.

I extended my leads with speaker wire.....I put my blocks under the dash - buckets - in console - under rear seat
the rear seat one I put on a piece of aluminum channel and a lag bolt in the center and bolted to the Box where the Jack is, and made a connection case I wanted to take it out......

I hung all the blocks with ties first then moved them so the shadows matched then I fixed them with the 3m zip ties

I got mine from - CARiD.com....they have all kinds of great products for our F150 or any vechile you have.....they have all kinds of kits for around the same price...20-30.00
It looks better in person then in the pics......everyone just goes wow when they get in at nite.....lol.....its one of my fav Mods.. out of many Ive done..

here is a few pics of mine

I found them in the isle that sells the light bulbs. I also found them on
Amazon Amazon

I accidentally cut one the strips in my excitement to remove the product from that pesky packaging. So I will have to see if Costco will let me exchange it.

Thats funny I had to basically declare war on that damn packaging. Why in the world do they make it so difficult??

I been doing some research in ebay for the materials to "build" our own kits.... We should be able to do it MUCH more cheaply and better fit than what those kits are offering... We could literally build ANY configuration that we wanted... and Im guessing around 50% of the kit costs I've seen...

Im guessing that the most common colors would be white/clear and blue.?? and how much demand would there be for the RGB multicolor strips, abd all the fancy features like flashing, color-changing, etc..??

I'm bidding right now on some materials, including the blue strip lites, connectors, and even dimmers...

I'm even thinking that it could be connected to the truck dash lites and interior lites.. for max brite when loading, and much dimmer when driving..??

Any ideas..??

I bought these for $15 today.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/400354289466...84.m1439.l2649
I plan on wiring them up to the parking lights so they come on when I unlock the doors and when the lights are on.

I paid....23.00 for 10 blocks with 3 led lights in each, and you can cut and splice where ever you want and I used roll of speaker wire to extend the leads....
I also bought Stainless push blue ambient switch....you can see the round glow in the pics left of the steering wheel....pics
