Corsa Sport Exhaust for 5.0 V8 - Resonator Delete Help!
Hey everyone,
I tried searching for some help on this, but cannot really locate the information I want.
Here's the scoop....I have had this (http://www.americanmuscle.com/corsa-...back-0914.html) Corsa Sport Exhaust for my 2014 Fx4 with the V8 and I really enjoy it. I've had it about a year now. It's very subtle until you step on the 'go' pedal. But, now I want to wake it up a bit more and see if I can get it to sound a bit more aggressive just all around. This kit did NOT come with a resonator delete (like the Xtreme series does).
My question is, do you feel that putting a resonator delete on this cat back setup will really do much more to the exhaust note? Is it worth the money? I've heard that our stock resonators are already pretty open and non restrictive. I'm just hoping for some advice.
Lastly, if you feel the resonator delete will help, do I go with a 3 inch one like my current exhaust setup? I think there is also like a 2.5 inch one.
Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

I have the corsa sport with resonator delete. If you think the sport is too much like stock then hell yeah the resonator delete will make a difference. Just be prepared that it's quite a bit louder than stock on a cold start, but it settles down pretty quick and no drone while driving.

haha, yup I'm back to thinking about pulling the trigger now. I've had the exhaust for a year and I like it, but I am thinking I need a change and for it to be a little louder. I think the resonator delete is going to happen....

It just says "Front Pipe" lol Couldn't we see a better description then that!? How do you know it's for your length truck and the pipe diameter etc?

Another vote for the resonator delete. I have flows 50's and it sounded basically stock until I popped the reso off. It's perfect now with just enough growl at idle and low rpm, and sounds like an animal when you get into it.
Very surprised how much the reso really tones these things down.

Thanks for the feedback, Aeroin. Can I ask which resonator delete you got? Size, price, where you bought it etc? Trying to pin down what I would need. I'd like to get the Corsa brand if possible.
