Default corrosion valve cover bolts

I have a 2011 5.0 platinum with 29k miles and the valve cover bolts are corroded bad. Anyone else have this? Would this be covered under warranty?

Where do you live? Is there any other corrosion going on?

Got a pic'?

You may want to consider ...
Would this be covered under warranty?
HIGHLY doubt it.

Clean them with a small brass wire brush and spray them with silicone.

I'd ask your dealership's service manager, jbridered; they'll be able to tell you a definitive yes or no. Let us know what you find out.

They said it would be covered under warranty and ordered the bolts. Hope they change them without messing anything up.

You must live in the rust belt, good lord that's funky looking

Might be a good idea to wash your truck on a regular basis or the frame will break in half one day.

This truck came from up north. No need to salt the roads in Louisiana. I sprayed the frame with boiled linseed oil.

I was just about to say that. That's the most rusty 5.0 I've never seen. I'd hate to see what the rest of the truck looks like
