Cooper Discoverer ATP
I just got these new tires put on this morning.

My local discount tire will match all offers online. They even matched their own warehouse price that included no sales tax and free shipping. They had a buy 3 get 1 free special as well.
I was able to get out the door with lifetime mounting, balancing, rotation, flat repair and road hazzard for $564 bucks.
Have many of you used these off road and how do they do in the mud?

I haven't used them personally, but that tread pattern will pack with mud in about a half second, in other words, useless in mud. It's designed as basically an aggressive highway tire. I would not recommend any serious off roading unless you're with a buddy on good tires and a big winch...

I put these same tires on my truck Wednesday. I am very happy so far, I like the look of them better then the Nitto terra grapplers I had on my previous truck.
And for anyone else looking for these, they are made for discount tire by cooper tire. I believe discount is the only place to get them.

They tried to make me a deal on the Nitto Terra Grapplers at $828 out the door. I couldnt see spending 300 more on tires. The Coopers come with a 55k guarantee if you have Discount do all the rotations and balancing.

Kickin it
They're a good aggressive highway tire, with slightly better offroad capabilities. They pack up fast, buddies dodge ram is always spinning in mud with these, but I like the look.

I had these on my old F150 (2wd) and have them on my wife's FJ. They are a good highway tire and will pack up quickly. I take my wife's FJ out in shallow mud occasionally and they do fine. Haven't tried them in any deep mud yet.

If they fill up with mud are they going to have any snow traction? I was looking at getting these too but not if they suck in the snow. No discount tire anywhere around me and haven't seen anyone around here running them. I'm also looking at the AT3.

If you really like Cooper tires and want something for mud get the SST highly recommended in northern Newfoundland for the dirt roads they HAVE to drive on. I listen to my customers and rely on there feedback.
