Cooling fans on almost all the time?

Well after the recall on the cam phasers, on mine was a softare upgrade my fans are running mad. No towing, no A/C and it started with the ambient air temp 56 degrees. Ford said the fans are running fine. i can drive 3 miles they come on...or sometimes 12 miles and then they come on. A/C is cold...engine temp is good according to the guage, was in Phoenix Thurs and ran the A/C on the freeway to get home 100 miles away. Fans were turnning so hard you can feel the vibration in the steering column. So whats next...thermostat, A/C pressure switch. When the software was upgraded (cam phasers) was there a code which changed the degree for which the fans tun on? Say from 208-210 to 200-204....................Im clueless and getting annoyed. We dont need a freaking spacecraft just trucks
