Coolant question

Zerex or Prestone?
I know I went out and bought a jog of Zerex G05 coolant (CLEAR) for a previous F150.
I now have a 2013 F150 and it says ORANGE coolant (DEXCOOL) Compatible.
when did this change? I always thought as Dexcool as bad bad bad bad.
It says use Motorcraft Orange, but then again, the specs said Dexcool is compatible in the Prestone.
What gives?
Ford WSS-M97B44-D is the spec.
