Default Console to seat swap

Did some looking seems everyone wants to go from a seat to a console I want to go the other way. I have a tan 2010 xlt and having a really hard time finding one. Does anyone know what all is required to make it work? Are they like the f250 the center seat is held down by the driver and passenger seat? Anyone have one laying around?

I've got a grey one sitting out in the garage collecting dust. If you have the basic console the swap is as easy as 4 bolts. If you have the flow thru console it gets a bit tricky with the dash pieces.

I have the jump seat or whatever it's called. I love it! When folded down it makes for the perfect armrest. The console would be too low for me.

Youll also need the jumpseat mounting bracket, as the one for the console only has 2 anchoring points. Whereas, the jumpseat specific mounting bracket has 4 anchoring points so if your were in a accident and someone was belted in the seat!

+1 on the mounting plate. I did the seat to console swap and that's quite easy. The console doesn't need to be anchored in as well as a seat which needs to be anchored much better. I used small stainless hex screws to mount the console. The seat was held in with robust lag-style screws of some sort.
I'm sure there's a way to drill and tap into the existing plate for the seat, but I wouldn't trust it myself in the event of a crash should the seat be in use. Look for the appropriate plate with the proper mounting hardware.
PS, the seat sitting boxed up in my shop is also grey. Wish I could help out there.
