Default Considering removing or updating my FX2 decal's

As title states, I am considering removing the FX2 decals on the bedside. Its not that I dislike these particular stickers, but they are fairly large & the white trimmed color doesn't go with the trucks red/black theme IMO.

I figure, worse case scenario, "IF" I end up regretting the removal of them, I have a buddy who owns a Graphics business & he said he'd make some for me that better match the color theme.

Thoughts/Opinion

Will look better without in my opinion. First thing I did when I bought my truck was remove the '4x4' and 'EcoBoost' badges. I would remove the 'F150' badges as well if it didn't have holes underneath them. Looks so much cleaner without them and I don't need my truck to be a rolling sales brochure of all the features it has.

When I had my last truck, a 2011 FX2EB, there was a guy here on this site making custom decals for them. I had him make a Magnetic Grey set to contract my silver truck that said FX2 and then Twin Turbo where it normally would say Sport. This was all using the factory style font as well.

My 2013 Platinum is a 2WD as well, so no bedside stickers from factory. I've left it that way and like it clean and empty.

I am not a huge decal fan.

Clean look is best IMHO.

Another easy mod to make things blend is to black out the edge of rear tail lights.

I would love to remove the F150 from the Tailgate, as I think it looks out of balance. Looked into that a long time ago & was pissed when I discovered there would be large holes I just need to comment on your Screen Name, because I sold a 2006 F250 King-Ranch Diesel & bought this F150. I really like the F150 but I miss my Diesel so bad some days. I had invested stupid money in her over the years & had it just the way we wanted it, but after we sold the 5th-Wheel, the Diesel wasn't needed.
In short, I too miss my 06'

Yea, mine was an 06 F150. It was an extended cab and after having two children the extended cab was getting very annoying with car seats, so I traded it for my 14 SuperCrew. While the extra space is nice, this new truck just doesn't seem to be built as well as my 06. Things like the frame that feels more flexible than the old truck. The outer door skins that vibrate when closing the doors, and a myriad of minor problems on this new truck that my 06 never had. They don't build'em like they used to is true for me in this case. I have no experience with the new aluminum trucks but I hope they are better made than the Gen 12 trucks are.

Not sure why I didn't think of this before...
I played around with PAINT & now have an idea of how she'd look naked

Much better without. I pulled all the easily removable badges and the 4x4 stickers within a week of owning my truck.
