I ran them for about 6 months on my 2011 and now running them on my 2012. I haven't had any problems with people flashing me. The pictures I took shining them on the garage door look so similar to the OEMs that I didn't bother to post the pics. As I said at the top of the post, I put Sylvania Silverstar 9145 bulbs in for the OEM 9140 fog lights. The 9145s aren't "Ultra", but match close enough, for me at least.

There are way too many deer around here and good lighting is critical. We've even had a landing airplane hit a deer at the local airport. As you look at the pics, picture a deer approaching that is out in the dark on the OEMs and clearly visible with the SSUs.

I had these in my last car and loved them except for one major problem. They tend to last about a year before they burn out. (google this and you'll see what i mean) I couldn't bring myself to keep spending close to $100/year on headlights.

They sure made a difference though.

This is exactly what I've experienced. Make a huge difference though. I put these in the wife's car and have to plan on changing them every 9-12 months

I have run them before and got 9-12 months out of a set. That's alot of money for bulbs.

Big difference though

To the guys with them burning out - Silverstars or Silverstar Ultras? Didn't think the Ultras have been out a year, I could be wrong.
