You folks make me feel like I live in the tropics. I've only had it a couple weeks so lowest is probably only around 5F.

My boys and I run a Trapline here with mine...in early Nov it's pretty nice weather, maybe a few cold snaps, some rain or ice, but generally decent and cool maybe 30s to 40s with 20s for lows, real light clothing weather for us that time of year. By Christmas we've usually seen some 0s or less on the temp gauge and it's pretty consistent around teens especially early AM. This time of year the sub-zeros have been really frequent, and the windchill can be something else. I had to replace the original battery this year, and went with largest capacity and most cold cranking amps I could get from motocraft model, and that made a lot of difference at start ups. You get used to the cold quickly though if you are out in it and always have good cold weather gear.
Summer heat though is tough for me, I MELT when it hits 100 here, and July/August it seems to hang around for weeks with no relief. Give me colder climates any day, much more fun!
I'm not sure which is harder on trucks but mine seems to do very well in both extremes here, as mentioned earlier. I have a 2009 FX4 supercrew with all options, and already put 58K on it. Love this truck, nicest one I've ever owned.
