Default Coil spring replacement options

Hey all, about a month ago I got new 4600 front shocks installed and just found a broken piece of coil spring on my garage floor.

Needless to say I don't want to purchase all new struts and only want to replace the springs.

The only "oem" replacements i can find are the moog 81118 but after further research it seems they are quite different than oem springs.

Truck is a 2011 sc 4x4 5.0 with a 2.5 leveling puck.

Has anyone had any luck using the moog springs with a spacer lift? Will they work with the 4600s spring perch? I found a post saying the moog springs dont work with the oem shocks so im not sure.

Besides buying oem motorcraft springs which are nearly twice the price, what options do we have?

What are the chances only replacing a spring on 1 side of the truck, of the truck still sitting level side to side?

Have you tried a salvage yard. Spring usually last forever and I wouldn’t have a problem using used from salvage, especially if you’re only going to change one, at least the age will be close to the same.

another option is the used marketplace, Craigslist, facebook, etc, where someone has added suspension lift.

Normally I would agree with you. But for some reason, the front springs on our trucks, as far back as 04, seems to have a very bad habit of breaking coils. If his spring broke, another spring from the same region will likely do the same thing. Will you might get a year, will you get a month, will it last forever. It's definitely a risk.
There are a lot of used low-mile struts out there on marketplace. Unfortunately the low mile ones are all from newer aluminum body trucks. So the spring rate is a bit lower. They will fit just fine. But they may not have the same ride quality or handling characteristics. If you just want it back together, then these will be fine. But I suspect, based on his comment about the Moog springs he found, OP wants to maintain his current ride as much as possible.
