Clearance lights on 2010

clearance lights look just fine on an f150, dont let these fools dissuade you. Ive had clearance lights on lots of f150s, even had a moon visor with lights in it on a 1990 ford ranger, they look good. Im even thinking of putting them on my F150, properly installed they shouldnt leak any more than the the sat radio antenna, 3rd brake light or sunroof.

My nephew had them installed on an f150 and the f150 Gods didn't strike him down,he had them installed at a truck accessory place for 65.00 bucks plus the cost of the lights not a bad deal and they look good I was thinking about getting me a set.

But maybe I'm just a prude, I usually reserve my mod money for the things I'll get the most use out of, the one glaring exception maybe being exhaust...
Ultimately it's up to you bud. If they made a good looking visor for these trucks I'd say that'd be an ok way to go, but I have yet to seen one.

I'm thinking about pulling the trigger on a set in the spring. It needs to warm up a little before I get into a job like that in the driveway. I was thinking about going with 5 of the small ones instead of the kit as it is. I like the look, even better when I get it leveled and tires done. The smoked look will be great with the Royal Red!

I've chimed in on this once before, but yes, they will be out of place.
Now I will play the devils advocate and say that they are technically just as out of place on a 3/4 ton as they are on ours if your relating it to DOT reqs. However, I'd say that for the better part of the last 20 years you've only been able to get them on 3/4 ton and up vehicles (I think they were available on some 1/2 tons in the 70's).
While your at it (if one did decide to do it), throw on some 19 1/2" polished aluminum wheels and a set of stacks...
And don't forget some chrome B-pillar covers. Mmmm starting to rant, sorry.
I commend your feeling... and I sympathize; I almost bought a 3/4 ton entirely because of how much I like the look of clearance lights and would not own one without them, but they just don't belong on anything less.

I think they belong on there just fine. **** half of our trucks are bigger than some F350s (the older ones) The size of our truck is not a problem oh and your rant is dumb also just because you add one thing doesnt imply that everything should be added.

I was going to leave the big trucker guard out of my list with the wheels and the stacks just so as not to offend a certain someone but since I'm one of the fools: you go right ahead and get those lights for your truck, they'll be right at home.
But maybe I'm just a prude, I usually reserve my mod money for the things I'll get the most use out of, the one glaring exception maybe being exhaust...

05- My rant is not dumb. Know why? Because it's mine. You're entitled to your opinion just as much I am to mine. The OP was looking for input, I gave it, that's how this works. If you like em' than go ahead and get them, I won't like how they look but you aren't asking me.

Hey there ya go! It's not for me, but if it has a function it wins in my book. I know that about the semi, curiosity got me and I had to look up that bumper when I saw your avatar a while back. I have to ask, did you get anything else checked out after that 70mph impact? Even though are frames are tough I would think that energy would have to go somewhere other than just the deer. I bet it was epic though...
6000 pound truck vs 100 pound deer? haha, didnt even feel the impact, just heard it. It would be like checking out your ping pong paddle after you hit the ping pong ball, lol!
