Default CleanSweep install help

OK, I picked up a CleanSweep brand new off ebay for $150 the other day and ordered a JL CL-SSI signal summing interface, amp and wiring kit today. I know I've read it on here a harness kit so you don't have to cut the factory wires but I can find it anywhere! Does anyone have the part number for it?? Also where is the best place to mount and what do you mount to?
Thanks!

A cleansweep wont do anything to help the 2009-2014 F150's.

The HU that comes with them doesnt have the range of sound that the cleansweep needs to PROPERLY flatten the signal. Your result will be literally no different than the way it sounds without it, the HU simply doesnt put out the quality to use a cleansweep effectively.

I've done it, I've heard it, I learned the hard way - it's a waste of money in these trucks with a stock HU.

As for uaing an amp, you can do that, but know that the quality still isnt there, you're just making the sound it *does* have louder, not better. Thats what a cleansweep does, flattens and adjusts the output to an "ideal" setting, BUT the HU doesnt have the output to make it work, so it doesnt do anything.

Aren't the front channels a full range signal? I know it has a EQ to hell, but isn't the signal full?

I used the JL cleansweep with my stock 2011 headunit and it worked great for me. Sounded just fine, very good in fact. I used Fosgate amps, JL audio components, Polk 10" sub under the seat.

Adding a cleansweep and then an aftermarket amp to the stock speakers indeed did not sound very good. Right before I traded my 2011 in, I swapped out all of the door speakers back to stock, but left the cleansweep and Fosgate amps in place. The stock speakers are just awful......

I used this harness to tie my amp into the factory harness.

You just have to rip out the wires (maybe 4-5 of them) going between only the two black plugs and plug the black plugs into each other. Then you can cut/splice into that.

A clean sweep WITH a processor or EQ would work, but would essentially make the cleansweep a redundant step.

We tried it in my '12 with the tweeters and whatnot. The fronts aren't full range, there is no crossover to feed the door and tweeter separately - its just a split wire to each, so the speaker still gets the lows and highs, its just incapable of producing the sound.

That's why I say its of no benefit, because the HU doesn't have the range that a *good* set of components can make better, it would only be amplifying the wattage of the narrow band EQ from the HU.

At the end of the day, will it do anything? Yes, but the results will be minimal if at all without a processor (like an LQC) - BUT it will be noticeable in that the lows and highs will be kept intact thru the amp where the HU cuts them out at 50% volume.

Hi, I am needing a little help with my install. First off I am having the the stereo out puts input into the cl-ssi then to the cleansweep, and to the amp and back to the speakers. Am I correct so far? Or does the cleansweep come first then the ssi? Sorry for the stupid questions, this is my first time with anything like this.
