Default Cleaning Nav screen.

I was just wondering what everybody used to clean there nav screen with. From what I hear, it's extremely delicate and easy to scratch.

I would avoid any paper products on the screen. The surface is plastic, which will get fine scratches (like plastic lens eyeglasses) after being cleaned many times with paper.

It's safest to use only cotton fiber cloths when cleaning plastic screens.

Same goes with the instrument cluster gauges.

Oh never us any ammonia based product on a touch screen, will destroy it. Micro fiber cloth type used for camera lenses works great.

Just got a screen protector in the mail for mine the other night. I have used a micro-fiber cloth and LCD screen cleaner from my TV on it so far. Amazing how fast smudge marks from your fingers show up on that thing.

Just searched for "2012 ford navigation protection screen" or similar on amazon and a bunch came right up. Have yet to put it on but it is the same brand that is on my phone.
