Clay Bar...wow!
#11
I thought the same thing years ago and had the hardest time rubbing the clay across my paint when doing it. However I have never had any issues and the only thing I would watch out for is not having enough lubrication for the clay when rubbing it across the paint. If you come across an area where you didn't apply enough lubricant, the leftover clay can be a little difficult to remove. However I have never come across anyone who has had issues with claying.

The only way to remove any fine scratch is polish with a orbital polisher or if they're just tiny scratches, you can remove them by hand with a microfiber made specially for polishing, and a bit of polishing compound.

I have used the Meg's DA for years with great results, just recently picked up a dewalt version for the hell of it. With the right pad, cutting material, and working small areas at a time those scratches can be a thing of the past.
