What turned you away from these?

That way you can still use your cigarette lighter if you ever need to.

Still, looks good and nice work

I suppose I just wanted clean & flush. I had USB Cigarette Adapters before, and I wanted something not portable I guess But that plug-in adapter would do nicely for sure!

Was this plug-and-play, or did you have to cut wires?

You need to trim the tracking information out of the URL before posting. https://www.sportys.com/flight-gear-...k-charger.html

@mccljp - I bought a very similar adapter recently, like yours one with switched power, so I could leave my dash cam plugged into the dash, but switch it off when parked. I also wanted another cig. port for the occasional long trip when I want GPS.

The adapter interfered with my key fobs, so remote unlock, remote start, etc. didn't work. I returned it.

Do you have any key fob interference issues with the one you linked to?

Thank you.

Jon

Remote works fine locking and unlocking. I don't have remote start installed yet, it is sitting in the top of my tool box.
