Default throttle body upgrade on an Eco??

is it worth it to do a throttle body upgrade on an Eco?

on my old 1995 Mustang GT a throttle body upgrade made a difference but with these modern engines i'm wondering if it's worth the effort.

There are a couple out there. There are some that are offering a ported TB with a core charge but I couldn't find the dyno numbers. A ported TB could benefit the EB. A TB spacer, unless running meth, will not provide any substantial benefit.

I saw a thread about a TB spacer with a vacuum port which made it simple to connect a boost gauge. that would be handy.

but it sounds like a large TB doesn't really help the EB

Must do a little bit. I don't think the charge pipe makes that much difference by itself.

Thats over 10$/ 1hp gain. Meh. Not worth it IMO unless you are building a high performance motor and bolting on every accessory possible.
